This service saves you time & money from having to travel back to regional facilities for your follow-up care. We will work with your primary care providers so we can continue their directives for your customized treatment plan on these issues and more:

- Post-operative surgeries such as knee or shoulder surgery and total joint replacement
- Neurological diagnoses such as stroke, brain injury, and multiple sclerosis
- Diseases that seniors have a high risk such as Parkinson’s disease and osteoporosis
- General weakness, deconditioning, and loss of balance
- Communication and swallowing disorders

General Baptist wants to spotlight and welcome our newest therapy team member, Candy Mitchell, who is our Speech-Language Pathologist at both our General Baptist sites in Campbell and Piggott! Candy recently started with us back in November 2018 but has great ties to our therapy team members as she has 18 years of experience in treating patients with communication, swallowing, and voice disorders in the area. Candy holds the American Speech-Language Association Certificate of Clinical Competence and is licensed in Missouri and Arkansas. She is the only therapist in the area certified in MDTP (McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program) that is the latest treatment approach for swallowing disorders. Candy is also certified in VitalStim and Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation (DPNS). Proudly, Candy is also certified as a dementia care specialist which is such an asset to our communities. All of these services are offered on an inpatient and outpatient basis at our Piggott and Campbell General Baptist Facilities. Candy lives in Kennett, MO with her husband, Brian, and her dog Louie. We are so proud to have her on our team!
Jessica “Jessie” Daugherty joined our Reliant Rehabilitation team in April of 2018 at our General Baptist Sites in Campbell MO and Piggott AR. Jessie graduated from Arkansas State University in May 2015 with her doctorate in physical therapy. She is Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) Level One certified. Jessie uses her education and certification to assist her patients in achieving the highest functional level possible. She worked previously for three years in outpatient physical therapy where she treated a variety of patient populations to include pediatrics, geriatrics, neurological patients, vestibular patients, and athletes. Jessie currently treats both inpatient and outpatient individuals at the General Baptist Nursing Homes of Campbell and Piggott. Having a father and husband who served in the Army, Jessie finds particular satisfaction in treating veterans who have sacrificed so much for their country. In her free time, Jessie loves spending time with her family and two ornery puppies! We are so glad to have Jessie on our team! She is proof of the wonderful talent we have in our therapy programs in our facilities!!
Jessica McKinney, Physical Therapist Assistant/Director of Rehabilitation joined Reliant Rehabilitation four years ago when Reliant Rehabilitation joined forces with General Baptist Nursing Home of Piggott in Piggott Arkansas. Jessica has 6 years of experience in the therapy world under her belt. She has worked in all settings and populations throughout her career. Jessica has earned several degrees which includes an Associates of Applied Science Degree in General Education from Three Rivers College, in Poplar Bluff, MO, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and an Associate’s of Applied Science Degree in Physical Therapy from State Technical College in Linn, MO. Her current certifications include RockTape FMT Level 1. She is passionate about assisting the Physical Therapist, as well as, working with other disciplines on our therapy team to help individuals increase their strength, mobility, stability, and safety. Her goal is to aid her patients to returning home, if able, with reduced risk of falls and reducing worsening of ability to care for themselves independently. She is an excellent leader and General Baptist of Piggott is happy to have her on our very talented therapy team!! Jessica lives in Corning, Arkansas with her husband Trent and 2 sons Kade and Avery McKinney.
General Baptist wants to spotlight Kimberly Stepps, M.Ed., CCC-SLP at our East and West campuses in Pine Bluff, AR. Kim has 12 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist and holds membership with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). All therapy services are offered on an inpatient and outpatient basis at our Pine Bluff General Baptist facilities. Kimberly lives in Pine Bluff with her husband, Kris, and her daughter, Kiersten.
General Baptist wants to spotlight Michelle Griffin, who is a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant/Licensed at our East site in Pine Bluff, AR. Michelle holds certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and is licensed in Arkansas and Missouri. She has 12 years of experience as a COTA/L and is certified in Kinesiotaping and Modalities. Michelle started her career with Reliant Rehabilitation and General Baptist in the General Baptist Piggott and Campbell sites in 2015 and transferred to our Pine Bluff sites last year when she moved to the area from NE Arkansas and SE Missouri. All therapy services are offered on an inpatient and outpatient basis at our Pine Bluff General Baptist facilities. Michelle lives in Jacksonville, AR with her husband, Benjamin. She has four children Mark, Ashley, Jonathan and Jeffery.
General Baptist wants to spotlight Katie Corbin, who is a Physical Therapist Assistant, as well as the Director of Rehabilitation at our East site in Pine Bluff, AR. Katie has 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant with the geriatric population. Katie is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is licensed in Arkansas and Tennessee. All therapy services are offered on an inpatient and outpatient basis at our Pine Bluff General Baptist facilities. Katie lives in Mayflower, AR with her husband, Deric, and her daughter, Khloe.
